LAKE CHABOT REGIONAL PARK (ENTRANCE TO MARINA): This is a special volunteer opportunity to help create habitat for pollinators. Learn a bit about local insects then dive into habitat restoration. Work entails removing invasives and then planting with native bushes or plants. All tools provided. Please bring water. Snacks provided. Community Service hours available for students. Ages 8 years and up. Parent Participation Required for volunteers 8-12 years. Students ages 13-18 must have a parent waiver signed to participate. Please meet in front of the restroom next to the Marina Café . PARKING FEE: $5/vehicle Registration required (click link below).
