Celebrate Decades Day at Art School! Pick your favorite decade and dress the part, then dance alongside the salsa-goers in Aliza Nisenbaum’s painting Mis Cuatro Gracias (Brendan, Camilo, Carlos, Jorge) (2018). — ABOUT STORYTIME STUDIO Storytime Studio is a captivating blend of play, educator-led read-alouds, and art exploration designed for kids from birth to age 6 and their caregivers. Every Wednesday morning at 10 and 11 AM, visitors are welcomed into our studio to enjoy a special Storytime adventure. Storytime Studio has limited capacity. Entry is first-come, first-served. THIS WEEK We’re welcoming you back to Art School with Spirit Weeks , and this Wednesday is Decades Day ! Pick your favorite decade and dress the part, from bell-bottoms to leg warmers. We’ll dance through the decades alongside the salsa-goers in Aliza Nisenbaum’s painting Mis Cuatro Gracias (Brendan, Camilo, Carlos, Jorge) (2018) and snap photos striking our favorite dance poses. Featured book: Giraffes Can’t Dance by Giles Andreae, illustrated by Guy Parker-Rees KNOW BEFORE YOU GO Storytime Studio is a one-hour experience. There are two Storytime sessions each Wednesday, with entry times at 10 and 11 AM. Participation for each adult and child is limited to one hour. No pre-registration is required. Entry to Storytime Studio is first-come, first-served. Once the 10 AM session reaches capacity, you’ll be given the option to return for entry to the 11 AM session.
