Each week we’ll get inspired by a different artwork on view from artists such as Aliza Nisenbaum, Pablo Picasso, Joan Mitchell, and more! Join us this week as we get inspired by the artist, Joan Mitchell and her artwork, Cercando un Ago . Mitchell experienced synesthesia—a neurological condition where the senses overlap, causing one sense to trigger another. This led her to see sounds and feelings as colors. Inspired by her artistic practice, we’ll think about colors and what they mean to us. Meet in Art School on the Museum’s Lower Level. ABOUT OPEN STUDIO Let your creativity run wild at Open Studio!
