Introduction to Inkjet Printing

Take your images beyond the screen and into print. This course focuses on developing a cohesive body of work through the art of fine art and photographic printing. Participants will learn best practices for image selection, editing, color management, print preparation, and archival storage techniques to ensure long-lasting, high-quality prints.The class utilizes the Epson Stylus Pro, a professional inkjet printer capable of producing exceptional prints on a variety of media. Participants will gain hands-on experience preparing and printing their own photographs while exploring the creative and technical considerations of the printing process.A working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and/or Lightroom is strongly recommended. Participants should bring a laptop with a current version of Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom installed, along with a thumb drive. Two 8x10 prints are included in the course fee.
