CROWN MEMORIAL STATE BEACH (OTIS DRIVE PARKIG LOT): This special volunteer opportunity will give our beloved shoreline some tender love and care. Work entails removing dead or invasive plants and then planting with native bushes or grasses. This will help stabilize the beach before winter storms happen. All tools provided. Please bring water. Snacks provided. Community Service hours available for students. Ages 8 years and up. Parent Participation Required for volunteers 8-12 years. Students ages 13-18 must have a parent waiver signed to participate. Please meet at the southernmost/innermost part of the Otis Street Parking area. Registration required (click link below).
