Reel Talk with Mick LaSalle

You’ve heard of a book club. How about a movie club with the San Francisco Chronicle ’s long-time film critic Mick LaSalle! First, on your own, watch the film selection: Julieta (2016; Rated R; Directed by Pedro Almodóvar) (DVDs are available through the Library and Link Plus. Some commercial streaming services also have the film, including Apple and Tubi.) Next, consider questions developed by Mick. Questions will be emailed to registrants before this event and included in your confirmation. Then, come to this event on Sunday, October 25 to hear Mick's take on the film and discuss it fellow community members. Library staff may take photos, videos, or audio recordings at our events. Please tell us if you do not wish to be photographed, video-recorded, or audio-recorded. We will always respect your requests. An ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter or closed captioning can be provided for this program if requested at least seven (7) business days in advance.
