Developing Unique Scholarship Essays Given the sheer number of scholarship opportunities out there, it might seem like a heavy lift to craft multiple stories for multiple competitions. Join this interactive workshop and learn how to develop a series of interchangeable written “modules” that can be used to address the most popular aspects of multiple scholarship essay prompts. Participants learn to analyze and identify up to 3 typical varieties of the scholarship essay and walk away with a clear sense of the most relevant content, details, and facts that must be incorporated into strong application materials. This presentation is part of a 2-part series, but you do not need to attend both sessions. This presentation is meant for teens, parents, and anyone wanting to attend college or transfer to a four year school, but anyone who wishes to attend this program is welcome. Library staff may take photos, videos, or audio recordings at our events. Please tell us if you do not wish to be photographed, video-recorded, or audio-recorded. We will always respect your requests. An ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter or closed captioning can be provided for this program if requested at least seven (7) days in advance.
