About

Something on your mind? Join us this Tuesday to make worry dolls. Whisper your secrets and troubles to your very own muñeca quitapena. Worry dolls come from the Mayan legend of the sun god, who taught Princess Ixmucane how to solve any problems. Ixmucane spread this gift to the people, teaching them to make worry dolls. Today, indigenous artisans from Guatemala continue the tradition by creating beautiful dolls dressed in traditional Maya regalia. No registration required, as supplies last.
