Visiting Ward's Berry Farm
The one south of the city, 22 miles down 95, and the answer for families in Milton, Quincy and the South Shore who don't want to cross Boston to reach an orchard. Pumpkins are open and the farm runs both a sunflower maze and a corn maze. One thing to be clear about before you promise it: Ward's lists pumpkins under pick-your-own and does **not** list apples — this is a pumpkin trip, not an apple one. Call (781) 784-3600 to confirm the day's picking.
