
iPhone for Beginners
About
Become familiar with your iPhone in this 2-hour, relaxed-pace class at the Castro Valley Library. This workshop is designed for beginners, especially adults with limited iPhone experience. Topics Covered We will cover all the basics of getting the most from your device. This includes learning about: What is a smartphone and what can it do Types of smartphones Using a touch screen and navigating your iPhone Data and Wi-Fi Searching the internet Installing apps What to Bring Please bring a fully charged iPhone to class and know your Apple account ID and password. This workshop is presented in partnership with digitalLIFT , a local non-profit that is dedicated to digital literacy training. Library staff may take photos, videos, or audio recordings at our events. Please tell us if you do not wish to be photographed, video-recorded, or audio-recorded. We will always respect your requests! An ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter or closed captioning can be provided for this program if requested at least seven (7) days in advance.
