Teen Makerspace: Earthquake-Resistant Building Challenge
About
Join us for our first makerspace activity for teens: the earthquake-resistant building challenge! Our hands-on engineering challenge will teach teens about the importance of the environment when designing architecture, and what types of structures tend to be the most stable in this type of natural disaster. We will provide all the materials and test out each building at the end using our earthquake simulator to see if the buildings would hold up during an actual earthquake. Age: 12-15
