Woodworking in Small Spaces: Hand Tools
About
Woodworking with hand tools is creative and satisfying. In this hands-on class we'll use the classic tools needed to make furniture: layout tools for measuring and marking, hand planes, various saws, chisels, and even a bit/ brace for drilling. We will make two practical projects that will come in handy as you continue to develop your woodworking practice: a bench hook and a mallet. It's a great start for folks with little or no woodworking experience. A $30 materials fee is included in the cost of the class. Prerequisites: none.
