College Park Seniors Advisory Committee presents Support for Family Caregivers Wednesday, November 4, 2026 - 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. College Park Woods Clubhouse 3545 Marlbrough Way, College Park In recognition of November as National Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month and National Family Caregivers Month, the Seniors Advisory Committee is hosting a special event in support and recognition of caregivers and the critical role they play in the lives of others. The guest speaker will be Shavawn Fowlkes, LBSW, Seniors Program Manager for the City of College Park. Ms. Fowlkes will explain services and supports that are available to caregivers, how to navigate them, and how to find assistance in your caregiver journey. She will also describe the many ways that the College Park Seniors Program helps residents over age 62. This event is free and no RSVP is required. If you are able, please bring a nonperishable food item that we will donate to the College Park Food Bank after the event. The College Park Woods Clubhouse is located at 3545 Marlbrough Way.
