A lecture series presented by the Delphian Study Club - providing the opportunity for lifelong learning and friendship via lectures and events. The current series: “Meet the Instruments & Meet the Dynasties” will focus on the history and engineering of musical instruments and the composers who wrote for the instruments. October 2, 2026 - Meet the Piano October 16, 2026 - Meet the Strings November 6, 2026 - Meet the Guitar November 20, 2026 - Meet the Brass December 4, 2026 - Meet the Woodwinds January 15, 2027 - Meet the Percussion February 5, 2027 - Meet the Conductors February 19, 2027 - Meet the Unusual Instruments March 5,2027 - Meet the Bach Family April 2, 2027 - Meet the Mozart Family April 16, 2027 - Meet the Schumann Family May 7, 2027 - Meet the Mendelssohn Siblings May 21, 2027 - Meet the Strauss Family, Waltz Kings This series will be presented by Deborah Martínez Rosengaus, a versatile Mezzo Soprano who has studied Opera, Theater, Music and Dance, and has toured internationally, with a variety of musical ensembles in concert halls such as: Santori Hall in Tokyo, The Center for Performing Arts in Beijing, Disney Hall with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, The Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall. She has given recitals in Mexico and across the United States, giving voice to her research into the lesser-known Art Songs of great Class
