About
Teen Advisory Group (TAG) members advise the library on the best way to connect with and serve teens. You might: recommend new teen books and movies suggest new programs and services or even design and run your own programs. Snacks and drinks are provided. Meetings take place at the Newark Library, in the Teen Lounge, on the second floor. There is no minimum duration commitment, but we are looking for TAG members who will attend as often as possible. Requirements Be in grades 7-12 Attend regularly scheduled TAG meetings If you are interested in attending, please fill out an application here and will respond to you as soon as we can. After you apply, you will receive an e-mail response within a few days. Please check your Spam folder for that response, if you don't see it in your Inbox. *Note for parents: Teens must fill out the application since they will be the ones volunteering. Library staff may take photos, videos, or audio recordings at our events. Please tell us if you do not wish to be photographed, video-recorded, or audio-recorded. We will always respect your requests. An ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter or closed captioning can be provided for this program if requested at least three business days in advance.
