About

Thanks to a generous donation from the Pearl Foundation, we are pleased to have poet Gabby Gilliam come to share her poems at Quince Orchard Library. After she reads she will answer your questions about writing and publishing. Then we invite participants to share their original poetry at an open mic. Gabby Gilliam describes herself as "a devourer of words." She has numerous publications. Her book of poetry, No Ocean Spit Me Out , is available from the Quince Orchard Library Local Authors' Collection. Gabby has also been a long-time member of the Quince Orchard Library poetry group which now meets as Poetry on Saturdays once each month. She is a contributing author to Echoes Through the Stacks: Celebrating Five Years of Poems Penned at Quince Orchard Library, available from Local Authors' Collections in many MCPL branches.
