The Shape of Our Universe
About
Have you ever looked up at a beautiful clear dark starlit night, and wondered whether space goes on forever? Or is there an edge, a boundary where it stops? Astronomers know that distant galaxies are rushing away from our own Milky Way, and think that the universe began about 13.8 billion years ago - called the "big bang" but really tiny. What will the universe be like in "deep time"? Completely empty (or full of dark energy) or will it collapse down to a "big crunch" or neither? Join us for a discussion on these questions with physicist and author Dr. Michael Albrow.
