English "Walk and Talk" Time! (outdoors)

Are you interested in: practicing your English conversation skills? learning about Quincy Center? meeting new people from other cultures? Please join us for Walk and Talk! Led by 2 volunteer teachers, the walks start at the Main Library and follow different routes around Quincy Center (a maximum distance of 2 miles, walked at a slow pace). The walks are a great opportunity for English Language Learners to meet new people, enjoy casual conversation and learn about the many interesting places in Quincy Center! Longtime Quincy community members who are interested in meeting people from other cultures are very welcome to join, as well. Meet in front of the library (on Washington Street) at 10:00 AM. The group leaves the library at 10:15 AM so be sure to arrive by then! Other information: This is a drop-in event. Registration is not required. On cold or rainy days, the group meets inside in a meeting room on Floor 2. Children are also welcome, but must be supervised by a caregiver at all times. Wear comfortable shoes! Questions?
