About
Celebrate the beauty of fall through color and creativity! Explore warm autumn colors and simple abstract techniques to create a beautiful fall-inspired landscape. Learn basic color mixing, layering, expressive brushwork, texture, and mark-making in a relaxed and welcoming setting. No prior painting experience is needed. Designed for adults and teens 15+ only. Please see our family programs for when you have younger artists with you. This event is first-come, first-served. No registration. Limited to 22 people. About the instructor: Rashmi Rao is a Bay Area–based, award-winning artist, designer, and creative educator whose work has been featured in The Independent and exhibited in New York and the Bay Area. Her solo exhibition has also received coverage in Livermore Vine and Pleasanton Weekly. Library staff may take photos, videos, or audio recordings at our events. Please tell us if you do not wish to be photographed, video-recorded, or audio-recorded. We will always respect your requests. An ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter or closed captioning can be provided for this program if requested at least seven (7) days in advance.
