Take your materials from what is around you—if you see a dandelion, write about that; if it’s misty, write about the mist. The materials for poetry are all about you in profusion. - Masaoka Shiki In these Friday meetings, we will first read closely at least one poem for inspiration by such writers as Keats, Heaney, Bishop. If attendees are inspired or bring their own writing, we will then spend time on poems written by the participants. Future sessions will adapt to the needs and interests of the group. Led by local author and poet Ann Taylor. Registration is requested, but not required.
