Partners In Health is a non-profit organization that provides high-quality health care to vulnerable communities around the world. PIH's mission is to ensure that everyone has access to quality health care, regardless of their economic status. PIH provides health care; strengthens public health systems; advocates for global policy change; addresses root causes of illness; trains clinicians and other service providers; advances research.Who should go on the trek? Students interested in: Health care and public health.International development and health care systems.Nonprofit organizations and social impact careers.The trek will take place on Friday, Oct. 2, from 8:45 AM to 2:00 PM (including travel time) and will include an office tour, a panel of alumni and other professionals, a light lunch and networking with the panelists.
