Recommended for ages 10+ With Lab PCs donated by our local community, you will learn: Components needed to assemble a working computer How to plan out and shop for a new/used computer components How to disassemble/assemble a PC without damaging components Class Breakdown: Students will be given a working computer; they will plug in components and boot it. Students will dissemble computer to a bare motherboard. Students will reassemble computer; start them up and troubleshoot any problems Thanks to our patrons and staff for their computer donations!! This is a great skill to acquire in this age of excessive PC component prices. My Qualifications: I've built my own computers for more than 35 years. My parents worked at IBM and would always bring home new components. I have a CompTIA A+ certification and a Cisco Certified Network Associate Certificate. ADA Accommodation Requests
