Join us as we host renowned author and educator Dr. Francisco Jiménez for an opportunity to learn about his life and the process of capturing personal stories through different media. We are screening a free showing of The Unbroken Sky , a short film (24 minutes) based on Dr. Jiménez’s childhood experiences growing up in California. Following the film, enjoy an engaging bilingual (English/Spanish) conversation about his life, books, and the journeys that inspired his writing. Bring your family and be part of this enriching community gathering - everyone is welcome to join us for this event in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month. Francisco Jiménez will be available after the event to sign personal copies of his books . (Please note: books will not be sold at the event , but you can bring your own.)
