Student-Led Paws and Play: make toys for the local animal shelter!
About
This student-led program, Paws and Play, brings young students together to create handmade toys and blankets for the dogs and cats at our San Martin Animal Services Center. The aim of this program is to provide comfort, joy, and entertainment to animals still waiting for their forever home, and to give participants an opportunity to make a positive impact on their community! Basic sewing skills are highly encouraged, but not necessary. We highly recommend that the parents of younger children stay to assist their child with their project. All supplies will be provided. This program is for kids ages 8-12. Registration is required do to space limitations. Walk ins will be accepted if space is available. This program is an approved Passion Project Proposal and will be led by Andria Perez, a Morgan Hill high school student volunteering to share their passions with the community!
