About
Gem Painting is taking the crafting world by storm. It’s the perfect mixture of paint-by-numbers and mosaic art, without the paint! Instead, tiny gems make a beautiful pattern and sparkle in the light. Gem Painting is a recurring series that invites creative makers to gather at the same place regularly. If you are interested in participating, attend the first Friday of the month , when canvases will be provided, and then drop in on dates that work with your schedule to work on your masterpiece. This is a fun and relaxing activity that’s good for mental health and wellness. Come give it a try and socialize with your fellow community members. Participants are not required to attend every session, but we will only be accepting new participants on a monthly basis. As this project aims to bring together creative makers in the community, each participant's gem-painting materials will be labeled and held at the library until the month is complete. Check the schedule below to see when we will provide canvases to new participants and when we will allow only pre-existing participants to drop in.
