The MMX Shop is the gateway for many new members to get making right away. MMX offers a suite of light to medium duty tools for beginning and advanced wood, light metal, plastic, and foam applications. MMX Basic tools sign-off will also get users conscientious of tool safety. Upon completion, makers will be able to use, on their own. Grizzly 12” Bandsaw DeWalt 12” Sliding Miter Saw DeWalt Scroll Saw Wen Track Saw Jet Drill Press Harbor Freight Disc Sander Harbor Freight Belt & Spindle Sander As well as the equivalent tools in the Woodshop Sign-offs: Mixed Media Basic Tools, Mixed Media Bandsaw, Woodshop Rikon Bandsaw, Dewalt Sliding Miter Saw, Delta Spindle/Oscillating Sander, Rikon Bandsaw, Dewalt Scroll Saw, Drill Press, Powermatic Hollow Chisel Mortiser, Shop Fox Stationary Sander Safety Requirements: Close toed shoes (preferably with non-synthetic uppers), non-baggy clothing, long hair and beards need to be pulled back, safety glasses (loaners available in the shop).
