About

The Medicare Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) runs from October 15 through December 7 each year. During this time, Medicare beneficiaries can review and make changes to their Medicare health and prescription drug coverage for the coming year. Join HICAP (Health Insurance Counseling & Advocacy Program) for a free educational presentation covering Medicare updates taking effect in 2027, Medicare Advantage and Part D plan review strategies, and important factors to consider when evaluating your coverage options. Learn how to compare plan costs, provider networks, prescription drug coverage, and other benefits to determine whether your current plan continues to meet your needs. Following the presentation, HICAP counselors will be available for free one-on-one counseling sessions to answer Medicare questions and help attendees review their coverage options. HICAP counselors are unbiased and are not affiliated with any insurance company. The one-on-one sessions will be on a first come first serve basis.
