For babies and non-verbal toddlers (4 months to 17 months) with an adult! Sign language is great to learn for all ages. It helps babies communicate, and it enhances early literacy skills for verbal children as well! In this program, your child will learn sign language through songs, stories, games, play and more. If you would like to reduce frustration, give your baby the ability to express themselves before speech, accelerate the development of speech, enhance early literacy skills and deepen the bond with your baby, this class is for you! Each class will build on the previous one, so practice at home is essential to improve your skills. Cell phones will not be permitted in class, as this is a one-on-one program to work with your child. You will be learning as much as they are! Meets for EIGHT Thursdays , September 10th through October 29th. In the Community Room. You are signing up for all eight sessions with your registration. Please let us know if your plans change and you cannot attend. This class is not for adults attending alone...you must have a baby or toddler with you.
