BRUSHY PEAK - Celebrate Native American Heritage Month with a 4.5-mile hike through Brushy Peak. Join us in recognizing the first stewards of this land who have lived in the Bay Area since time immemorial. We’ll celebrate the rich history of this place and learn about the plants and animals that call this park home on a moderate 4.5-mile loop. 9am-1pm, Sunday, November 1st Meeting Location: Laughlin Staging Area Distance of Hike: 4.5 miles Elevation Change: 501-1000 ft Type of Trail: Dirt - Natural stone / Slight Incline and Steep incline Bring sturdy shoes, walking poles, and drinking water.
