Your Child's Life Still Matters: Navigating Perinatal Loss
About
Please join us for sharing, reflection, and discussion, facilitated by Autumn McCain, author of The Forever Unknown Child : A Memoir and Guide for Couples Navigating Miscarriage, Infant Death, and Stillbirth. According to the CDC, stillbirth, infant death, and miscarriage affect tens of thousands of families each year - losses that reshape identities, relationships, and the emotional landscape of a family in ways that are often unseen and profoundly felt. The event will weave together readings from The Forever Unknown Child , guided reflection moments, and an honest conversation about what grief in partnership truly looks like. You may not leave with all the answers, but hopefully you will leave knowing you are not alone, that your loss matters, your child's name belongs in the room, and that healing is not a destination but something we learn to carry together. Therapists, counselors, and caregivers are welcome as well as parents who have lost a child at any age. Light refreshments and warm tea will be provided.
