Settle in for a playful, atmospheric evening of jazz with a Halloween twist as Spooky Jazz with the John Baboian Ensemble brings swing, improvisation, and a little seasonal mischief to the Mosesian Arts stage. Guitarist, composer, and longtime Berklee College of Music faculty member John Baboian has built a wide-ranging career across jazz, blues, Latin, rock, R&B, and world music, performing with artists including Gary Burton, Joe Lovano, Esperanza Spalding, Ben Vereen, and Tom Jones. His compositions and arrangements have also been heard on television, including The Sopranos, Walker, Texas Ranger, and All My Children. Expect a lively night of masterful musicianship, familiar jazz energy, and just enough spooky spirit to make it a perfect October outing.
