Come join us in the beautiful Milpitas Library for an afternoon of surreal movies exploring themes of creation. At 2:00 PM, we will be showing The Blood of A Poet ( Le Sang d'un poète) : an artist's dreamy, bizarre trip through his subconscious and one of my favorite films! (This movie is in French with English subtitles) At 3:00 PM, we will be showing David Lynch's nightmarish cult classic Eraserhead . This program is part of the Surreal Film Series ! Previous events in the series: August 29: Alice in Wonderland and Fantastic Planet. September 19: The Exterminating Angel and Synecdoche, New York.
