About

Join us for an enchanting, after-school Story Hour - a special partnership between Olney Theatre Center and the Montgomery County Public Libraries! Designed for families with young children from toddlers to 5th grade, this theatrical storytelling session brings stories to life in a lively and engaging way. Each time, the stories are thoughtfully chosen to align with the theme of the current Olney Theatre production, creating a magical connection between reading and live performance. This month, our story time, hosted by guest storyteller Terrell Chambers, celebrates themes from SOME LIKE IT HOT, exploring ideas of artistic liberation, social integration, and cultural freedom. Come enjoy a fun-filled afternoon of storytelling, imagination, and community! This is a free family event appropriate for all ages, especially toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary schoolers. Registration is NOT required. Generously sponsored by Olney Theatre Center. Terrell Chambers, is a professional actor/ singer/writer & teaching artist. With over 2+ years of experience, Terrell has worked throughout Maryland to inspire and boost creativity with all ages (24 months - 80 years) and stages of life.
