Adult Book Discussion: The Collected Regrets of Clover
About
in October, the Cupertino Library Adult Book Discussion group will talk about the novel The Collected Regrets of Clover by Mikki Brammer. (2023) Clover Brooks is a death doula, guiding her clients through the end of their lives, helping them to make peace with themselves. Connecting with anyone who is not dying comes far harder for Clover until she meets Sebastian who asks her to spend time with his dying grandmother, Claudia. Through meeting Claudia and Sebastian and her determinedly friendly new neighbor Sylvie, Clover finally confronts her own grief over the deaths of her parents and her beloved grandfather. The Adult Book Discussion Group meets twice a month on the third Wednesday at 11am and the third Thursday evening at 7pm. Meetings are held in Room 201B. Adults of all ages are welcome. All meetings are sponsored by The Friends of the Cupertino Library. For accessibility accommodations (ex. ASL), please fill out the online form at sccld.org/accessibility 7+days prior to the event.
