About
Personal Maps - Taught by lellobird We’ll start by studying maps and then build maps of either real or imaginary places that are important to us. It could be a map of a literal place or something more esoteric, like where your procrastination takes you. You could even build an abstract art piece using map-making principles. Along the way we’ll use stamps, icons, limited palettes, collage, mark-making textures and other art techniques. This loosely ties to the current OMCA exhibit “You Are Here: California Stories on the Map,” on view through 2026. Tuesday October 13th, 6-7:30pm. All materials will be provided. No registration required. Get accessibility information .
