The City of Menlo Park participates in a "compressed work week" schedule in which a regular full-time two-week work schedule of 80 hours is compressed into eight nine-hour days and one eight-hour days within a two-week period (9/80). This results in longer business hours throughout the week (7:30 am to 5:30 pm Mon-Thu) with offices closed every other Friday.
