Do you want to try a more advanced sewing project at Hatch? Learn how to make a fully-lined fabric storage pod! With a loop that allows it to be hung on a doorknob or wall hook, this storage pod will test your sewing skills while also giving you a cute way to keep your things organized. F or adults and older teenagers ages 16+ with intermediate sewing machine skills. Participants will be expected to cut fabric accurately and perform basic sewing machine functions without instruction, including threading the machine, winding and changing a bobbin, and changing stitch types. This class is intended for patrons with previous sewing experience, and is not recommended for beginners. Hatch workshops start on time. If you arrive late, your spot may be given to someone on the waitlist. MAKER CARDS All visitors to Hatch must show their Hatch Maker Card or sign a waiver to receive a Maker Card. Those under 18 must have a parent/guardian present to sign the waiver. Visitors under 12 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
