Have you ever been interested in making your own song? Join us in learning how to make beats and become songwriters! In this program for beginners, we will be using GarageBand to create our own songs with drum pads and Apple Loops. Open to everyone in grades 3-6. Everything needed for this course will be provided, but you are more than welcome to bring your own personal iPad with the free GarageBand app downloaded, especially if you want to save your work. Free. Registration is recommended. This series is taught in English only. Registration closes at 12pm the day before class. However, if seats are still available, students in grades 3-6 can walk in on Saturday if they arrive before 3pm to sign in. Maximum class size is 25. Although the class is scheduled from 3-4:30pm, students who finish their projects early are welcome to leave early.
