Ukulele jam group (Half Moon Bay Library) — Morning strumming and singing with provided music; participants bring ukuleles; beginners welcome. Ages 12 and up.
In the Downtown Library Makerspace, a Day of the Dead workshop teaches Mexican traditions, demonstrates sugar skull decoration, then provides free skulls for participants to decorate and keep.
Pumpkin decorating at Stanford Redwood City Recreation and Wellness Center offers hands‑on creativity, stress relief, and community connection, with pumpkins provided for registered participants.
Chen‑style Taijiquan class teaches the form, silk‑reeling spiral movements, and Wuji Qigong standing meditation in the library courtyard, for ages 19 and up.
Tech‑savvy staff provide ten‑minute device help sessions at San Carlos Library, for ages 19 and up.
