Banned Books Week is October 4-10, 2026 Celebrate Banned Books Week all month long at the Dublin Library! Take a chance on an unknown book that has been banned or challenged somewhere in the world. You won't be able to tell what the book is, but we'll provide some info on the cover. Check it out, unwrap, and enjoy! Each wrapped book comes with a card where you can rate the book and return for a chance to win a gift card to Barnes and Noble. Fill it out and return the form to the Reference Desk by November 12th, and you’ll be entered in a drawing for a gift card to Barnes & Noble and we will have a few fun book themed items you can choose from to get just for participating! Library staff may take photos, videos, or audio recordings at our events. Please tell us if you do not wish to be photographed, video-recorded, or audio-recorded. We will always respect your requests. An ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter or closed captioning can be provided for this program if requested at least seven (7) days in advance.
