NOTE: we will NOT be meeting at the Golf Course parking lot located at 2600 Benning Rd NE. We will be meeting at the driving range, which does not have a real address. Please consult the link above and the map below for directions. The driving range is just down the street from the Golf Course and is directly across from the Benning Rd entrance to Kingman and Heritage Islands Park. Parking is available at this location The Minnesota Avenue Metro Station is about 1.1 miles away from this location (about a 21 minute walk) The Stadium Armory Metro Station is about 1.6 mile away from this location (about a 33 minute walk) Project : You will help AWS with a Mussel Bottom Cage Workday in Kingman Lake! On this workday we will focus on bottom cage maintenance, which could involve cleaning accumulated mud out of the mussel cages and making cage repairs.
