Teen Takeover Pop-up: It's Science Time!
About
Union City Library support local teens on their leadership journey by providing space for them to plan, market, facilitate, share their skills by leading their own library program under the supervisions of teen librarians. This informal pop-up setting is designed to encourage children to learn basic science through a casual, hands-on approach. This drop-in program will be conducted by one of our teens, Shraddha. She has experience doing Science Olympiad for many years and will be bringing her own science experiments for kids to try. October 10 November 21 Program will be held on the main library floor. Space is limited. Library staff may take photos, videos, or audio recordings at our events. Please tell us if you do not wish to be photographed, video-recorded, or audio-recorded. We will always respect your requests! An ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter or closed captioning can be provided for this program if requested at least seven (7) days in advance.
