
Art at the Library: Frida Kahlo
About
Join us for an afternoon of art! In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, we will learn about artist Frida Kahlo, an artist famous for her self portraits, and then paint your own self portrait! This hands-on activity will stimulate your child's creativity and imagination, while helping them develop critical fine motor skills. Please bring a picture of yourself or a mirror for this program. Registration is required for this program. Registration will be forfeit ten minutes after the start of the program. This program is designed for children 6 years old and above. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. All materials provided. This program is generously funded by the Friends of the Library, Montgomery County. Questions about this program?
