Play, Read & Move for ages 2-4

Thursday, October 29 · 11:30 AM – 12 PM · Cupertino Library, Cupertino

About

Get ready to wiggle, move, and read! Can you hop like a bunny, clap like a seal, or stomp like a dinosaur? During this fun and interactive presentation, occupational therapist Alyanna and physical therapist Ashley from Development is Child’s Play will share favorite books for little ones ages 2 to 4 that inspire movement, play, and active participation. They will also show you fun ways to incorporate fine motor skills, gross motor skills, and sensory play in the library's underwater-themed play space! Development is Child’s Play provides pediatric, play-based occupational and physical therapy through a sensory integration lens. Together, Alyanna and Ashley will show how story time can become movement time, with books that get little bodies jumping, stretching, stomping, dancing, and exploring! For parents, adult caregivers and children ages 2-4 only. Space is limited to 30 children. Please arrive on time. Doors will close when capacity is reached. Generously sponsored by the Friends of Cupertino Library. For accessibility accommodations (ex. ASL), please fill out the online form at sccld.org/accessibility 7+ days prior to the event. If you need assistance with the form, speak with a staff member at your local library, call (408) 540-3945 , or email us at ask@sccl.org .
