Teen Advisory Board (TAB)
About
Join Quince Orchard Library 's Teen Advisory Board (TAB) to help shape teen programs, displays, volunteer projects, and library spaces. TAB members share ideas with library staff, give feedback, plan upcoming activities, and work with other teens on projects that support the library and community. The first hour usually features a guest presentation, skill-building activity, or discussion on a topic relevant to teens. The second hour is for TAB reflection, planning, and project work. TAB members identify library and community needs, help prepare service projects, take action through teen-led or teen-supported activities, and reflect on what they learned and who benefited. New members are welcome. You do not need prior volunteer or leadership experience. Teens can earn four Student Service-Learning (SSL) hours for attending the full meeting and participating. Snacks are provided while supplies last. This program is sponsored by Friends of the Library of Montgomery County, MD, Inc. How to Join Please complete the Teen Advisory Board Interest Form before attending so staff can confirm eligibility and contact information. If you use the Register button for this meeting, please also complete the interest form. Applicants must be 13 or in eighth grade at the time of application and may participate through age 17, or age 18 if still in high school.
