PARK VIEW GALLERY | INHERITED THREADS
About
The Park View Gallery presents Inherited Threads , an exhibition by artists Asia Anderson & Lizzie Brown. Inherited Threads explores the connections we inherit through culture, heritage, memory, identity, family, and community. The exhibition invites viewers to engage with patterns, motifs, textiles, paintings, and the broader language of threads through literal, visual, or conceptual interpretations. These works consider what we carry from those who came before us and how those inheritances shape who we are and where we belong. Threads may be cherished, tangled, frayed, broken, repaired, or rewoven as we preserve, transform, or redefine what has been passed down to us. Through storytelling, the exhibition invites viewers to reflect on the threads that connect us and our role in shaping what comes next.
