Do Good Campus Symposium
About
Join us for a celebration of impact and innovation, highlighting our campus-wide commitment to do good. OUR KEYNOTE SPEAKER Caitlin Marshall, Brin Do Good Professor Dr. Caitlin Marshall, our first Brin Do Good Professor in the College of Arts and Humanities, is a theater and performance historian and practice-based researcher in the School of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies. As part of her Do Good work, Dr. Marshall is working alongside community members to develop a full-length musical and documentary film that tells the story of the S Street Salon, a creative and intellectual hub of black artists and activists in the early 20th century (including celebrated authors Langston Hughes, Zora Neale Hurston and W.E.B. DuBois). Join us for a sneak peak into the musical production, including a prerecorded song, followed by a student-performed staged reading. LIGHTNING TALKS Inspiring and informative talks from Do Good Campus Fund grantees and more. POSTERS Engage with faculty, staff and students who are doing good across campus and beyond. LUNCH Lunch, catered by Good Tidings, will be served during the symposium.
