Meet Carol Efron, Author of A Hidden Fate
About
Join San Mateo County Libraries as we welcome Dr. Carol Efron for a memorable discussion of her new book, A Hidden Fate . The book explores the question of whether we want to know our genetic destinies and how these revelations change our expectations for ourselves and our life partners. Join Efron for a signing, reading and discussion of the thoughtful and engaging novel which obtained a starred Kirkus review. Efron served on the full-time academic faculty at Johns Hopkins University, then Stanford, before building a private practice of psychiatry in Menlo Park, her home base.
