Basic Hand Sewing for Mending

Do you have damaged clothing that you can't bear to throw out? Join us to learn some basic hand-sewing techniques for small clothing repairs, including replacing buttons, patching holes, and repairing damaged hems - no sewing machine required. For adults and teenagers 16+ with beginner sewing experience. This class requires fine motor skills to thread and use a sewing needle. MAKER CARDS All visitors to Hatch must show their Hatch Maker Card, or sign a waiver to receive a Maker Card. Visitors under 18 must have a parent/guardian present to sign the waiver. Visitors under 12 years old must be accompanied by a guardian at all times. LOCATION This event takes place at WFPL’s Hatch Makerspace, located at 20 Summer Street in Watertown, just a few blocks away from the Library. ----- The Watertown Free Public Library does not discriminate and does not share your information with anyone.
