Get dressed up and join us for a goblin good time. Festivities will include a costume parade, carnival games, moon bounce, arts and crafts, spooky stories, and more! This fun-filled spooky festival is fit for the entire family.
Visit the John Marshall Seed Library to pick up a few packets of vegetable, fruit, herb, or flower seeds for your garden. Many of our seeds are from 2024 and prior, but you may find old favorites or discover new ones! Have extra seeds? Consider donating them! Bring donated seeds to the Information Desk or leave packets…

We'll get ready for the big day with stories, songs, and a few surprises. Kids are invited to wear costumes today if they'd like to, but it's not required. This program is designed for 2, 3, 4 and 5 year olds, though younger siblings are welcome to join in the fun.
This lapsit story and song time is for the youngest patrons and their caregivers. Age birth - 17 months with adult. Please register children only. If you have questions about the appropriate age for a program, its content, or accommodations, please call the branch at 703-768-6700 (option 4).
Welcome to our afternoon Baby Storytime for babies with caregivers! Build community through stories, music, and playtime. For ages 0-18 months with caregiver. Registration is preferred. Please register only the child aged 0-18 months and include their age (months) on the registration form.
Practice your English conversation skills in a friendly and encouraging group. Limited to the first 14 attendees. Adults.
Playdate cafe is our regular weekly time for kids and adults to enjoy free-play and socialize in an informal setting - blocks, cars, puppets, music, and more. Ages 0-5 with caregiver. No registration required.
